I live in the Midwest, and if there’s anything we know here, it’s how to dress for cold weather! Winter has been known to come as early as October, and stay WELL into May!!! So when the potential for snow and cold weather is there 9 out of 12 months of the year, warm Winter clothes, cute coats, warm scarves and fashionable boots become more than a fashion statement, they are a way of life.
When it’s cold out everyone’s first instinct is to dress comfortable and warm, which doesn’t always translate into looking cute! In fact, oversized sweaters, bulky coats, and warm shoes can actually make you look (and feel) frumpy if you don’t have any cute comfy outfit ideas for Winter! I learned really quick to embrace the cold weather style and try to dress as cute as possible for the cold winter months! So here are some of my best outfit ideas for cute casual comfy Winter clothes!

So to be completely honest, it took me awhile to jump on the “hoodie” bandwagon. For a long time, I was NOT a fan of wearing them out of the house. Why? There really wasn’t a good reason, but I guess mostly because I felt like they were a little bit frumpy, and I did everything in my power to fight the frump. But recently I gave in! I’ve found some REALLY cute hoodies with fashionable cuts and prints, and now I am kind of obsessed! I love that I can wear this around the house and look put together but still feel really comfortable! Pair this Black Leopard Hoodie with Jeans or Leggings, a cute hat and boots and you have an easy outfit idea that’s casual, cute and so comfortable!

One way to bring your style into any outfit is choosing to rock a bold print! This off the shoulder long sleeve top might still be cute, but a little boring without the bold tie-dye print. But the print definitely makes you stand out a little! And if you’re like me and you like the IDEA of a bold print, but you’re not so brave that you’re ready to jump into bold and colorful, this black and white tie-dye top is perfect for you! I love the off the shoulder detail as well!
I paired this top with jeans and ankle boots for the inspo pic but at home, I usually rock it with my favorite black leggings!

If you’re familiar at all with cold weather, than you’re familiar with thermal! If you don’t know, thermal is a warm textured material that is USUALLY made for “long john underwear.” In cold weather areas this is used to wear as a layer underneath your clothes to help keep the heat in and keep you warm. But I also happen to think that thermal material also makes for a cute fashion statement! And I love when function and fashion come together!
This thermal V Neck top with bell sleeve detail is perfect for a casual day of running errands. I ordered mine a size up and added the knot detail. I like to pair this with a puffy vest and leggings, or jeans and flat boots!

This off the shoulder sweater is one of my favorites! It’s cute, subtly sexy, and so comfortable! I have to warn that it IS a bit sheer, so I always make sure to layer a tank or cami underneath.
Of course you can pair this top with Jeans, but in the inspo pic I decided to pair it with faux leather leggings. I own these leggings in size large and although they are true to size, they are very fitted. A fun bonus, they do have tummy control which I love! I completed this look with a cute hat and a pair of boots.
